The library card is personal and the owner is responsible for all material borrowed on the card. You can get a library card by filling out a form, pdf (at home or in the library) and presenting your ID with a photograph. Under 15 year-olds have to get consent from a parent or a guardian to get a library card. The library card must be presented whenever you borrow or reserve material.
By signing the library card you undertake to obey library rules, to return the borrowed material and to pay the set fees. If the library card goes missing please notify the library immediately to prevent misuse. You are responsible for the borrowed items and fees until the card is reported lost. The first library card is free of charge, while a new card replacing a damaged or lost one costs 3 €. You should also notify the library of a new name, address, phone number or email address.
You can get a PIN code from the library in order to use self-service issues, log on to internet on the library’s computers and use Eepos Web Library. In the Internet service you can renew your loans and make reservations. The password is not given by phone or e-mail.

You get a receipt of your loans with the due date printed on it. The customer uses the material of the library at his/her own risk. The library is not liable if a borrowed recording causes damage to the equipment of the customer.
There is an optional possibility to have an e-mail message that reminds 1-5 days prior the due dates. Customer is still responsible for his/her loans even if there is a technical problem with the reminder service. Therefore all possible overdue payments and fees regarding the situation are valid.
